The Oakland A's have fired long-time broadcaster Glen Kuiper after he used a racial slur on the air earlier this month, NBC Sports California, the official broadcaster for the MLB team, announced on Monday. "Following an internal review, the decision has been made for NBC Sports California to end its relationship with Glen Kuiper, effective immediately," read a statement from NBC Sports California to CBS News. "We thank Glen for his dedication to Bay Area baseball over the years," the statement ended.
